"Julius Caesar" OOAK FCM Thoroughbred By Ellen Robbins Best Offer 3.25.2025

This piece is a special complement to our March Classic Literature focus - Julius Caesar.

Mona worked magic on our Thoroughbred mold here, giving him a graceful slightly turned head, long flowing mane and forelock, and sweet expression. Ellen then painted him to a glowing bright dappled chestnut with four white socks and a blaze, all markings with etched mapping of course! And for the character and how he complements this month’s Classic Literature release, Ellen has this to say: “Julius Caesar. As I said in one of our production meetings, you can’t have Julius Caesar without Julius Caesar. Jules is a flaxen chestnut, with similar markings to his traitorous friends (sans spots). So, was the historical Caesar a blonde? Maybe. He also may have been a ginger. In fact, I think the only hair color I didn’t see mentioned was black. So, here you go: chestnut is a genetic lack of black, and let’s just say that, for the purpose of this release, Jules is a blonde.”
