HOW DO I BUY?
There are numerous opportunities to purchase Stone Horses, including special releases, Best Offers, various events, and the Design-A-Horse (DAH) feature.
* DAH restocks on the 1st of each month.
* Best Offer models go live on Thursday/Friday and are open until the following Tuesday at 2pm EST.
* Classic Literature series horses go live the third week of each month (unless otherwise specified) at 3pm EST on the New Release Page.
*Stone Horses merchandise, including t-shirts, stickers, hats, pins, and more, is always available to purchase on our website!
*At the end of each month, we offer a selection of samples, OOAKs, and other one-off models on Model Horse Place.

What size models do you offer?
Models created by Stone Horses and painted by our artist come in three primary sizes.
Stone
1:9 Scale
(approximately 9" tall)
Pebble
1:24 Scale
(approximately 5" tall)
Chip
1:32 Scale
(approximately 3" tall)
How does Design A Horse (DAH) work?
DAH becomes available for purchase at 2 PM on the first of every month. Customers can select a body and choose colors and markings, providing a unique opportunity to design their own model.
DAH bodies change monthly.
DAH colors change quarterly.
DAH patterns change yearly.
Pick an available body and wait for the builder to load.
Once loaded with a sample color and/or pattern, you will be able to select the color, pattern, face marking, leg markings, etc and build your ideal horse.
(Please note that some markings are not available with certain patterns. Ex-- Splash cannot have a face marking.)
Make sure your finish is selected and you approve of your design before checking out.
DAH options can only be changed up to 10 days after purchasing.
The illustrations are an approximate example of what your horse will look like when completed.
Please know we do our best to get as close to the illustration as possible, though due to the fact that each DAH is individually hand-painted by various artists, there will be variations in coloration.
What makes Stone Horses unique?
Our products are 100% American made from the initial mold to the final paint job. Every aspect of our horses is manufactured within the United States – within 3-4 hours of our location in Northern Indiana!
The Stone Horses factory blends the creativity of an art studio with the efficiency of a retail manufacturer.
While we produce larger runs designed by our production staff, we also grant our painters the freedom to create unique (OOAK) models, Best Offer models, and limited runs.
A unique feature of our company is our in-house customizers who can disassemble and reconfigure our plastic models into a variety of exciting poses, known as Factory Customized (FCM) models.
We also offer an exclusive Design-A-Horse service, allowing you to select the body, color, and markings for a hand-painted model that showcases your personal design.
Designed by collectors for collectors, we strive to craft models that will delight everyone.
Why are your run numbers low?
With fewer than 30 staff members in our entire plant, which includes both factory and office personnel, we strive to keep workloads manageable.
Given the size of our facility, producing runs of hundreds of horses is not feasible.
We would love to manufacture enough models for everyone who wants one, but that is not possible given our team size and production methods.
Moreover, offering smaller editions and more distinctive pieces ensures that we maintain the collectible's value and provide a wider variety for our clients' diverse collecting preferences.
Our team crafts each piece with passion and meticulous attention to detail. Quality remains the fundamental principle behind every model we present.
How much do your models cost?
We specialize in crafting high-end collectible horses, and with 100% US-based manufacturing, and hand painted artistry to each piece, our pricing is a reflection of this commitment to quality.
For our large Stone sized models, pricing generally starts at $389.99. Pebbles start at $289.99, and Chips start at $99. We carefully calculate the time and effort put into each piece, and our pricing will reflect that.

How does layaway work?
Proceed to checkout as usual, put in all your information, and when asked for a payment method, choose LAYBUY!
You will then be able to set the terms for your layaway with a minimum down-payment of 25% and a maximum payoff period of 6 months.
Payments will be AUTOMATICALLY drawn from your account once monthly until the item is paid in full.
There is a 3% charge to use LayBuy's services.

I have an older Stone Horse. Can you Identify it for me/ tell me it's value?
Regrettably, due to limited staffing and time constraints, we do not provide that service or price estimates.
