Introducing the next piece in our Winter's Wishes monthly series of One-of-a-Kind Pimentos—Baby Puzzle. This is Carly Kudalis’s mare Puzzle, as we think she’d have looked like as a foal, painted by Jess Hamill. She is a gorgeous palomino and looks exactly like her real-life counterpart. Her color is so deep and rich, and Puzzle oozes foal charm! She’s been customized to have a slightly turned and lowered head and neck. She’s been given a custom tail that flags behind her like a banner. She also has a custom mane and forelock that match her tail—both have been finished to a shaded white and gray with extra windblown detailing. Her ears have been pinned back. Her markings match the real-life Puzzle with a thin stipe and delicate snip. All four legs have some chrome, as if she dipped herself in paint, and some limbs stayed submerged a bit longer. This is such a well-done Pimento. She will look great on your shelf and as a part of your show string!

The Winter Wish is a program created by Carly Kudalis, focused on promoting mustang adoption and aiding in post-adoption success by utilizing compassionate training techniques. The goal is to help educate the public about our nation's wild horses and burros, streamline information on how to adopt them, and equip individuals with the necessary tools to develop long-term bonds and partnerships with their newly domesticated animals. In doing so, more wild horses and burros will find themselves in forever homes with compassionate caretakers able to assist with their individual needs, while also helping more horses move out of holding facilities out west.
