This month’s Rule of Three shows the artistic ability and range of our artists. Carissa Mathews, Ellen Robbins, and Jess Hamill have created this group of extreme factory custom models and mini counterparts that will take you deep into the marshy woods, a place where you hope you don't sink into the murky bogs. The team used our Harmony sculpture and created three very distinct pieces of art!
Meet Jira, an extreme custom Mule by Ellen Robbins and guest artist, Kristen Cermele. Kristen first altered our large mule and made them into a kaiju. She turned the head and neck and pinned back the ears. The mule tail was traded in for a custom thick reptilian-like tail and is curved. From the tip of the snout to the end of the tail, jagged translucent spines run along Jira's spine. This is such a cool model! Ellen then painted Jira to a dappled gray that is offset with soft blue. Jira has soft shading around their muzzle, on the spines, and on their hooves. To finish off the look, Jira has blue eyes. Jira is finished in matte and no finish changes are offered.
