Introducing the next piece in our Winter's Wishes monthly series of One-of-a-Kind Pimentos—Baby Epona. This is a mare that went through Carly Kudalis’s program. This is our rendering of what we believe the mare, Epona, looked like as a foal, painted by Jess Hamill on our Pimento sculpture. She is a beautiful baby buckskin tobiano and looks exactly like her real-life counterpart. Her color is rich and layered, and her custom forward and fuzzy ears really show off that inquisitive foal spirit! Her markings match the real-life mare and Jess even painted mapping around her markings, adding a detail that makes Epona stand apart! She has all of the soft foal shading you like to see, plus ermine spots on her hooves. This is such an adorable foal that’d love to come live on your shelves while also supporting an amazing cause!
A portion of her sale price will be donated to The Winter Wish program! The Winter Wish is a program created by Carly Kudalis, focused on promoting mustang adoption and aiding in post-adoption success by utilizing compassionate training techniques. The goal is to help educate the public about our nation's wild horses and burros, streamline information on how to adopt them, and equip individuals with the necessary tools to develop long-term bonds and partnerships with their newly domesticated animals. In doing so, more wild horses and burros will find themselves in forever homes with compassionate caretakers able to assist with their individual needs, while also helping more horses move out of holding facilities out west.
