Join us for a fun walk down memory lane with the continuing Stone Tribute Series! 2026 celebrates 30 years of Stone Horses and The Peter Stone Company, and boy, do we have some fun surprises for you to reminisce over.
Stone has produced some iconic pieces over the decades, and we are having so much fun honoring a selection of those early pieces by revisiting them in new ways. We’re not exactly reproducing these gorgeous pieces, but rather drawing inspiration from them to create new pieces from our sculpture lineup and current production processes. Think of them as cover songs—in homage to the original.
Breakaway is a black leopard appaloosa on the Sporthorse sculpture that was released in 1997 and 1998. She was a run of 2500 pieces and features dark red braid bands in her mane. She was the inaugural release on this sculpture, and came with a ceramic log jump base. This month, we are honoring her with a realistic and decorator leopard appaloosa on our Volo sculpture with a braided mane and tail to match Breakaway’s iconic look.
Rebellion is the decorator interpretation for July as a gorgeous interference blue leopard appaloosa. She features the characteristic appaloosa mottling and striped hooves, plus small speckles throughout her coat. Her mane also has red braid bands like the original Breakaway.
