Nalu, our decorator offering this month, is a beautiful ocean themed model. His name means wave in Hawaiian. Melanie Miller gave him a flowing and long clearware mane and tail! The translucent part really ties into the water theme of the month. From there, Ashley painted a rich sandy coat with water lacing across the withers and hindquarters. The contrast with the sandy coat reminds you of the surf running across wet sand. Two of his legs have metallic seafoam socks and hooves. The final piece is the best! The clearware mane is a gorgeous sea green and blue. This truly reminds you of the crystal clear ocean and the waterfall mane and tail adds texture that looks like ripples in the water. What a fantastic piece this is!
