Enrique always creates with conscience, and this product line is his idea to shine a light on some of the world’s most fragile species that are in danger of extinction. In groups of ten models each month, Enrique will illustrate creatures from regions around the world.

For September, we are travelling to the Everglades to honor the beautiful manatee with Enrique's beautiful paintjobs. Manatees are found in the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico, the Amazon basin, and West Africa. They are herbivorous and feed on underwater plants and roots. They are considered vulnerable and are federally protected. Humans are the biggest threat to manatees, especially with boat activity and habitat destruction. There are numerous manatee rehabilitation centers in the United States, including three government-run facilities in Florida.

The first model honoring these gentle giants is Manatee, a mural decorator on the Irish Draught sculpture with his braided mane and tail. The mural depicts an adult manatee with a baby gently gliding through the water. Enrique captured light coming through the water to perfectly highlight the manatees. Around the mural is a stunning slightly metallic blue roan paintjob.
