Enrique always creates with conscience, and this product line is his idea to shine a light on some of the world’s most fragile species that are in danger of extinction. In groups of ten models each month, Enrique will illustrate creatures from regions around the world.
For July, Enrique is honoring the fierce Harpy Eagle, native to the rainforests of Central and South America. This majestic bird of prey has had much of its natural habitat destroyed by human activity and is considered a vulnerable species. Named for the mythical Harpy, these eagles look the part; their regal crown of feathers and huge wingspan of up to 88” make them a truly incredible visual spectacle.
The decorator model this month, Harpy Eagle, is a gorgeous representation of the eagle’s plumage, featuring dimensionally shaded feathers down his neck and dorsal stripe, plus deep black wings folded on each side of his body.
Both of our Remington offerings this month sport a short, standing mane with a flying forelock, and a wavy windswept tail. Each colorway is a run of 5 pieces. There are no purchase limits for our Endangered Species series, and these are ready to have finishes applied if you choose, and ready to ship.
