Terminally Online is a collection of horses inspired by memes that have stood the test of time - memes that have ascended and become legend. Immortalized in model horse form by Melanie Miller, whose meme knowledge is just as multidimensional as her extreme artistic skill.
This month’s Terminally Online designs harken all the way back to 2014 – and one fateful photo that immortalized one of the most puzzling weekends in one fandom’s history. Event planning is hard – event planning without realizing that the venue does require a bunch of money down is even harder. It all spiraled from there, and the meme that lives on is a backrooms-esque photo of a half filled ball pit and a well-taken emphasis on value to attendees at all events – something we take seriously here at Stone!
Dash is a run of just ten pieces on our adorable Irish Cob sculpture, customized and painted as always by Melanie Miller. She began by turning her into a mare with her neck turned and tucked, looking straight ahead. She finished off this lovely lady with a long, wavy mane and a dynamically swishing tail. Mel then took inspiration from the vibrant colors of the infamous ball pit, giving her a shimmering multicolor pastel coat, complete with extended blanket appaloosa markings and shining gold hooves.
