Welcome to the world of Edgar Allan Poe, as retold by Ellen Robbins. This month we’re representing “The Gold-Bug," a mysterious tale about a gold beetle and a quest for buried treasure. Ellen has chosen to depict this tale on our Tennessee Walker sculpture, in gleaming metallic gold as well as gorgeous golden buckskin.
Captain Kidd is a stately golden buckskin with subtle dappling throughout his coat, plus handpainted shoes. He features a loose, flowing tail along with a loose mane and forelock down the center of his face. He is a run of 15, finished in matte with additional finish options offered.
