This one is said to have not bathed for decades and snacks on the best trash heap snack, roaches. Impending doom and dread is his vibe, and he’s especially fond of crows. Rori’s design for this character brings the crow in, on a field of dark grey with shiny black mane and tail. Rori was not sold on this design however, and asked for ideas on how else to interpret this dark corvid energy of doom. Erin, sensing an opening to make something shiny, jumped at the chance. Rori and Erin together developed the final design featuring snake scales under the neck, chest, and belly of this Standing Drafter with a new long tail and no bobs. He still has a dark grey base color, but now with color shifting red, purple, and copper shading that is also pulled into the tapered ends of each individually painted scale. With a wash of reflective red interference over his mane and tail, Angel’s Curse was a real Trust The Process piece, and we are both happy with where he landed! He is finished off with dark grey eyes that are also blacklight reactive, painted by Ellen Robbins.
