Not just one, but TWO realistic Brindle designs on our iconic Ideal Stock Horse, leveled up with a listening ear and a new loosely dynamic tail – plus miniature versions of these designs on factory customized Chip Stock Horses! Read on to see their details, and we hope you are as excited about these fellows as we are!

Welcome to the world of Edgar Allan Poe, as retold by Ellen Robbins. This month we’re representing “The Fall of the House of Usher.” In this famous work, Poe showed how the grotesque and melancholy shrouded in mystery can sprout beauty and nightmares. To depict the tale, Ellen Robbins chose to use our versatile Ideal Stock Horse and Chip Stock Horse, all in realistic colors! How does one translate decay and marsh into art? Ellen created gorgeous brindle coats for our Ideal Stock Horse and Chip Stock Horse sculptures.

Afterdream is a factory custom Chip Stock Horse. His name comes from the beginning of the tale when our narrator first gazes upon the decaying mansion. Afterdream has a straightened head and neck, as if he is looking towards something interesting. Ellen painted him to mirror his larger counterpart, Wild Gossamer. He also is a bay brindle with markings creating a beautiful pattern across his body.
