Friend of Stone Horses, Carly Kudalis, is well known for her support and advocacy of America’s Mustang horse. We got to meet Aali at Country Fair 2025 and portrait her on our lovely mustang mare Volo! Carly has started a new program specifically aimed at helping Mustang horses land in safe homes through education and support of potential adopters. We at Stone Horses love her mission and will be helping out by creating a One-of-a-Kind model each month on our Pimento mustang foal sculpture! These models will be portraits of some of the remarkable individuals that have come through Carly’s program, sold at auction with a portion of their sales price being sent to Carly in support of her program. First up for January we will be portraying her mare Winter, stay tuned for more details and read on below for more information about The Winter Wish!

The Winter Wish is a program focused on promoting mustang adoption and aiding in post-adoption success by utilizing compassionate training techniques. The goal is to help educate the public about our nations wild horses and burros, streamline information on how to adopt them, and equip individuals with the necessary tools to develop long-term bonds and partnerships with their newly domesticated animals. In doing so, more wild horses and burros will find themselves in forever homes with compassionate care takers able to assist with their individual needs, while also helping more horses move out of holding facilities out west.
