Tyler Beck

Tyler Beck has worked for Stone Horses for 4 years, working both in prep and customizing. He is from Columbia, MO and enjoys working on vintage cars, attending car shows, and taking film photos of his travels. Tyler enjoyed the opportunity to travel to Chicago this winter for professional development, learning all about injection molding.

Erin Corbett

Chief Horse Officer & Painting Artist

Erin Corbett began working at Stone Horses in January 2024, though she has been heavily involved in the model horse hobby since 1994. Originally from the Pacific Northwest (Oregon and Washington), her favorite part of the job is supporting the staff and guest artists, saying “yes!” to creative ideas, and maintaining a positive workplace. Her biggest challenge is balancing creative freedom with the production realities of running a business that supports around 40 families. Outside of work, Erin jokingly admits she has no time for outside interests! Her favorite pieces include the Heza Night Train tribute runs (Heza Freight Train and Heza Spice Train), which were technically challenging due to complex masking, as well as being special to her as the first ever limiterd edition run she has painted at Stone.

"My vision for Stone Horses centers around our Stone collector community. It is the most special thing to have the relationship we have with our collectors, and I never take that for granted. I want to keep pushing for and celebrating a world where the Stone community is visible and welcoming to all, even if our models are not currently in the budget. Combined with continuing to raise the bar on what’s possible in Original Finish cellulose acetate and redefine how good a horse can be, it’s the team here at Stone and the people we get to create art for that really make us special. More of that – plus a few surprises along the way!”

Through her work, she hopes to improve the customer experience and showcase the artists' work in its best light.

Enrique "Kike" Duarte

Painting Artist

Enrique “Kike” Duarte joined the team in March 2025, bringing his experience in a variety of artistic ventures into his artwork at Stone Horses. In addition to his showstopping equine art, Kike paints custom sneakers, portraits, and murals found throughout Michiana. He brings a distinct perspective to his work, creating imaginative mural pieces packed with tiny details in his totally unique pop art style.

Kike has enjoyed the creative freedom he has as a painter, feeling valued and supported in his ideas. His biggest challenge so far has been learning horse terminology. He has worked hard getting up to speed on colors, white markings, breed guidelines, and more!

Outside of work he is a musician, proficient in a variety of instruments and having played in a band called Hypnotica in his homeland of Colombia. As an immigrant to the United States, he feels incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to work as an artist and contribute his talents to the model horse collector community. He loves to create pieces that folks can connect to on an emotional level, and is deeply touched by the enthusiastic response his work has received.

You can always count on Alex’s artwork to bring a new perspective to even colors and patterns you may have seen before, but never by Alex! We can’t wait to see what she creates next!

Jess Hamill

Paint Room Coordinator

Jess Hamill started painting for Stone Horses in November of 2021 and never looked back! You would not believe that her biggest learning curve has been learning to paint with an airbrush—she now creates incredibly detailed pieces from stripey zebras to speckled appaloosas! Jess is grateful to work in a creative role, as well as the opportunity to enjoy her hobby as a career and be surrounded by beautiful plastic ponies (without breaking the bank!) Outside of work, Jess loves to draw, paint, sew, play video games, and pet her dogs Rori, Jigglypuff, and Mika. Her hope for her work is for collectors to enjoy seeing and showing her pieces as much as she enjoys painting them!

Production Manager & Horse Chaos Coordinator

Carrie Keller joined the Stone Horses team in 2002 doing prep for paint work, and then she moved into the paint room where she’s created some of Stone’s most iconic works. Over time her organizational skills and ability to see the path to finished models through the whole business landed her in our Production Manager role, where she ensures everyone at Stone has what they need to do their best work. We still work hard to get her into the paint room, because she remains an absolutely phenomenal painter.

Bringing inventive new ideas to both types of model horse art, she is the backbone of our Rule of Three series, creating three extremely cool EFCM models each month.
