Where to even start with this piece? Matt started carving these wings in March, if that helps paint a picture for how much effort goes into these extreme factory customs. Her wings have hundreds of hand carved individually depicted feathers, and those feathers blend her wings into the tops of her shoulder blades. Her wings are reinforced with steel rods sunk into the sculpture for years of durability. Matt also gave her a long flowing mane and long customized tail to balance out her look. Ellen approached this piece with an idea in mind, and she executed it superbly. Her bay semi-leopard appaloosa coat features loads of hand painted and etched detailing, mottling where it should be, hand etched lighting marks on her legs, and more. Her wings are modeled after red tailed hawk wings and – of course – Ellen did a superb job on those as well. This piece is offered in matte finish with no finish changes available. We strongly prefer pickup in person for this special piece and are happy to hang onto her until a 2026 event if you like, but she is available to be shipped worldwide in a large box with full insurance.
