We’ve seen your feedback about wanting more customizations offered in Design-A-Horse, and you know we listen! We are proud to offer this truly unique creation reticentlylovingly pieced together by Matt Samuels from dead bodies extra inventory, to be painted to your color choice by me – Erin Corbett. I would not dare inflict this monstrosity on any of our wonderful and delightful staff painters. You may choose from any of the colors in the drop-down menu!
You may be asking yourself, what would I even do with a ball of horse heads? We have ideas!
- A paper weight
- A conversation starter
- A subtle threat in the form of office décor
- A many-eared two pound projectile to deter possible home invaders
- An uncool person identifier (only cool people will like this piece)
- Loan it to tack makers – it has almost all our molds on it
- Annoy show holders ‘round the world by insisting it fit into their class lists (It is technically all horse? Just … some of a lot of horses?)
- Naming practice - give it 20 names – one for each head
Important disclaimers!
- This is a very weird, very fun piece
- It will be painted by me in a solid or ombre one-color design with no markings and no separately painted manes or forelocks, because I do not hate myself and need to limit time spent on this for-fun piece otherwise I will get hellacious levels of side-eye from our Chief of Operations
- You can leave it white, but note that the
dead bodies inventory it was created from have some imperfections and slight discoloration here and there, so it is not perfectly white plastic
- The eyes will be a solid color that goes with your color choice, again referencing time spent and my unwillingness to inflict this art on our staff artists
- The prep work will be smooth enough to be painted, but not to our normal Stone Horses quality level – this is a ball of heads, please manage your expectations accordingly
- It will be finish coated for durability but words cannot express the levels to which we cannot gloss this thing
If all that sounds good to you, this is a for-real offering for one piece, and we expect it to be completed within the month of April, barring unforeseen circumstances such as it comes to life and crawls in the night like Thing from the Addams Family. Anything is possible.
