“Calico Jack” almost doesn’t need words. I will say that Maggie says he’s her favorite realistic boy of the bunch, and we can really see why. Mona gave him a super detailed flying mane and tail to set off his movement, to start. Then, Maggie executed an UNBELIEVABLY cool dappled buckskin pinto design. His face is captivating, and not just because he has the amazingly accurate pinned ears and open biting mouth this run features – the level of detail and smoothness she got into this piece is crazy. He has one eye that is half blue and half brown, gorgeous dapples in his buckskin coat, and a stunningly accurate and eye catching overo pinto design. This is a once in a lifetime piece for the realistic collectors.
