








One of the things we love most about Enrique Duarte’s work is his ability to draw inspiration from cultures around the world in a way that is uplifting, accurate, and respectful. This next release from our World Cultures collection celebrates the rich history of the many ancient civilizations indigenous to Mesoamerica.
These models are named for Aztec, Maya, and Zapotec archeological sites across modern-day Mexico and Guatemala. These famous sites are central to our understanding of the ancient origins of these vibrant cultures that continue to thrive in the present day.
Monte Albán is a run of 5 on our Pebble Saddlebred sculpture, named for the Zapotec archaeological site. She is painted in a beautifully shaded gold with a petroglyph-inspired design on her shoulder and face.
