Chichén Itzá LE-5 Pebble Warmblood by Enrique Duarte WC26

One of the things we love most about Enrique Duarte’s work is his ability to draw inspiration from cultures around the world in a way that is uplifting, accurate, and respectful. This next release from our World Cultures collection celebrates the rich history of the many ancient civilizations indigenous to Mesoamerica.

These models are named for Aztec, Maya, and Zapotec archeological sites across modern-day Mexico and Guatemala. These famous sites are central to our understanding of the ancient origins of these vibrant cultures that continue to thrive in the present day.

Chichén Itzá is a run of 5 on our Pebble Warmblood sculpture, named for the Aztec archaeological site. This shaded green stallion features a stepped pyramid like the one at Chichén Itzá. Also depicted is Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent deity from Aztec religious belief.
