At Stone Horses, weird is good. Celebrated, even! Like this lovely creature – Kristen took our Ideal Stock Horse and gave him a fun opalescent body coat and then went in with a striped pattern that is a combination of masked off thicker striping and a ton of hand etched finer detailed striping, all blending together in a cohesive look. His color shifts depending on the light - from pink to purple to green to a sheen of all three at once, he is really something special. He comes in his current semi-gloss satin, with no additional finishes available.
This piece will be at auction on stonehorses.com from Tuesday July 7th through Tuesday July 14th and on display in the Griffin Gate Marriott Mansion in our Stone Store, on July 9th through July 12th – open all day on Sunday this year!
