Yes, you read that right – it’s a Mona piece! When Mona retired last year we held back a handful of her pieces waiting for the right moment to bring them out. Mel has had this guy on her workbench the whole time, and it finally came time for him to be finished and offered to you all. Mona gave him a dramatically lifted and turned head and neck, plus her signature extreme tendril detailing mane, tail, and forelock. Mel brought him to life with a stunning deep dappled bay coat, with four white socks and a complex long blaze. He is finished in a shimmering satin matte and all finish options are available!
This piece will be at auction on stonehorses.com from Tuesday July 7th through Tuesday July 14th and on display in the Griffin Gate Marriott Mansion in our Stone Store, on July 9th through July 12th – open all day on Sunday this year!
