Jess has a way with unicorns, and it’s amazing how she comes up with something new every time. Ilithyia starts with our Bunny sculpture with a new upraised flagged tail and extra long wavy mane, plus of course a unicorn horn! Jess painted her to the unicorn version of Rose Gold – shimmering tones of metallic and pearl dance through this piece, especially in her dappled planes that blend into her deeper pink shoulders. With shimmering pearl white feathering and gorgeous shading transitions throughout, this piece is not to be missed. She is currently finished in satin matte and you can add gloss if you like, though we think it would obscure a lot of her soft detailing and we love her as is!
This piece will be at auction on stonehorses.com from Tuesday July 7th through Tuesday July 14th and on display in the Griffin Gate Marriott Mansion in our Stone Store, on July 9th through July 12th – open all day on Sunday this year!
