Groote Schuur is based on a Rau Quagga at the quagga project, and she is a STUNNER. Mel first gave her an intense quagga makeover with the most 747 airplane ears we’ve seen in some time. They are rounded and have extra wrinkle detailing at the bases, along with realistic fuzzy insides! She has a peacefully swishing tail, a fully customized standing-up mane, and extra detail through her face. Tegan then painted her in an absolutely stunning black, white, cream, brown, and reddish chestnut striped pattern, again nailing the transition from very light to very dark in the shading that Tegan is just so incredible at! We could look at this piece all day long, and boy is she hard to sell. Finish changes are not available on this piece.
