Bite Me! Or at least, stay back. This piece begins with our large Mule sculpture, and Mel gave her the full grumpy quagga treatment. Rounded pinned ears with added wrinkling and detail in the bases along with fuzzy insides, a grumpy swishing tail, and a light head tuck – she is ready to argue. Tegan painted her to a stunning shaded quagga with loads of stripe detailing, dramatic shading transitions from light to toasty brown, and the most impossibly small stripes through her face and neck. This is such a difficult color and pattern to execute, and Tegan really did her justice! Finish changes are not available on this piece.
