Rori’s design brings in elements of the character’s outfit and her energy, with flowing color blocks of purple and navy over a light tan coat shaded with lighter creamy notes of eggshell white. Dramatic shading accentuates her muzzle and eyes, along with contrasting shades of silver and gold in her mane and tail. Erin’s translation of this design to model horse form keeps all of these design elements, painstakingly masking over layers and layers to create the final look – overlaid with a final wash of purple interference to bring everything together.
