Like in previous years, we at Stone Horses will choose the nine finalists, three from each category. These pieces will then be voted on by the public in an anonymous fashion.

The finalists will all be completed for models on Traditional sized Stone Horse bodies.

As a finalist, you will be offered the option to purchase the sample/first piece of the edition based on your artwork. You are not obligated to purchase this piece.

Any and all! (And, yes, this absolutely includes digital painting and illustration.) We have seen some truly amazing pieces in all mediums! Our one exception is AI generated or assisted pieces. 

Grand Prize/ 1st Place: $1,000 Cash
2nd Place: $500 Stone Gift Card
3rd Place: $ 250 Stone Gift Card

The remaining six finalists will receive $50 in Stone Gift Card

If your piece is selected for a one of a kind creation for a Gift Basket you will be awarded a $50 Stone Horses Gift Card. 

Yes! And there are three different pages of guidelines that are uploaded (see above) to help you prepare your entry. Note that the general guidelines are the same, but the content requirements and judging portions vary slightly. 

Absolutely!
However, please make sure that it fits the theme (Real Horses for Model Horse People) as well as our other requirements. If selected be sure that you have some evidence of production of the piece. Otherwise, we request that you create something new! 

In order for us to be well-organized and make things easier on everyone involved, entries will be submitted through Google Forms. You should not need a Google account/Gmail to enter. 

Please be sure to fill out and submit a separate Google Form for each category if entering in more than one. 

Entrants will need to be 14 or older!

If you are under 18, please get permission from a parent or guardian. Permission authorization can be found here:  Permission Form- It should be downloaded, printed, signed by a parent or legal guardian with authority to grant this permission and then emailed back to us at submissions@stonehores.com

ENTRIES WILL NEED TO BE SUBMITTED BY APRIL 16TH,  2023 AT 11:59 PM EST.
