All our model horses are created in our artisan factory located in Shipshewana, Indiana. Prices vary depending on the complexity of the model, but start as low as $150.00. You can receive a free no obligation price quote by filling in our model request form and emailing us photos of your horse. Each one of a kind model portrait horse is created individually and may take up to several months to complete because we know how special your horse truly is. |

Overview
- You submit your idea through the The Portrait Horse™ Request on our website.
- Then email reference pictures to us separately at

- Our production team will review your submission and determine if and how we can create it for you.
- We will then send you a quote for the work, and once confirmed, can begin the process of creating your model.
- We will ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit to confirm the order.
- Orders will take as long as necessary to produce. This may be up to several months or longer after the order is confirmed. We want your model to be as special as the horse you submitted!
- When the model is nearing completion, we will notify you. Any remaining balance is due before the model is shipped to you.
Submitting Reference
- To assist in creating your design, we ask that you provide us with as much detail as possible.
- For portrait work, we ask for full left side, right side, and front side pictures, preferably not in shadow or a dark barn. Any additional pictures are helpful as well. Be sure to show pictures where the hooves are visible.
Legal Notes
- Please make sure you have a legal right to use any reference materials you send us and the right to have a portrait made.
- The Peter Stone Company is not responsible for any liability based on the negligence or omission of the submitting party.
- Any colors, patterns, or designs used in creating the portrait remain the property of The Peter Stone Company. We will not duplicate any design in whole, but reserve the right to utilize portions of designs.
- We reserve the right to decline any submission.
- Any pictures physically mailed to us may not be returned.

The Peter Stone Company creates detailed one of a kind model horses for horse owners and horse lovers all over the world. A portrait horse is a model horse closely resembling your real horse that we create and hand paint from photographs you supply us.
Our model horses are approximately 10 to 12 inches tall, depending on the breed of horse you select and are made of durable cellulose acetate plastic. We currently have thirteen different horse models you can choose from. Each model horse is hand painted by our skilled artisan painters using the latest technology in high quality paint. Each model then receives a protective matte finish.
